Jeanette Vertentes has been painting since she was 15, and from the first time she held a brush and an easel, she was in love with the form. Her works are characterized by a unique command of colors and movement.

She paints using her mind’s eye—capturing the flux of movement and the dynamism of light to create art that celebrates the joy of life. She is currently based in North Stonington, Connecticut.
